What counts as a local move here
Anything inside Pflugerville, Round Rock, Hutto, Manor, Georgetown, and the northeast side of Austin gets priced as a local move, billed by the hour once the crew starts the walk through.
The crew size and truck size follow your inventory. A one bedroom apartment near Wells Branch might take two movers and a smaller box truck. A four bedroom house off Weiss Lane usually gets four movers and a full size truck.

How a typical move day runs
The crew arrives in the window you agreed on, walks the house with you, and pads the door frames and stair rails before anything gets carried.
Furniture comes apart where it needs to, gets wrapped in moving blankets, and loads in an order that keeps the truck balanced for the drive across town.
At the new address everything goes to the room you name. Beds get put back together, and we walk the truck with you before we leave so nothing gets left behind.
Apartments along the corridor
The newer complexes around Wells Branch and the growing communities in Round Rock often need a reserved elevator, a certificate of insurance, and a set window such as nine to four on a weekday.

Between June and September we push for the earliest start a building or a neighborhood will allow. The heaviest furniture goes on first while the morning is still cool, and the truck doors stay shut between carries.
If your schedule is flexible, a weekday morning slot beats a Saturday afternoon on both price and comfort for everyone doing the lifting.
